Dr. Venturelli joined the Quantum World Congress 2026 panel “From Battlefield to Orbit: Space, Sovereignty and the Road Ahead.”
The panel brought together Kieran Bjergstrom, Julie Fisher, Davide Venturelli, Laura Andre, Chris Erven, and David Mitlyng to discuss how quantum technologies can move from promising demonstrations toward operational capability in defence and space.
The conversation connected quantum sensing, timing, and positioning with the engineering, infrastructure, investment, and international partnerships needed to build sovereign capability. It reflected the broader focus of Quantum World Congress: bringing together research, industry, government, and investment leaders around the technologies shaping the next generation of space and security systems.
Quantum World Congress 2026 takes place in College Park, Maryland, from September 23–25, 2026. The official program also features the related “Battlefield to Orbit” workshop on delivering operational quantum advantage.
